Mark Batterson at "Ignite"

First off, I’m sorry for the lull in posting – just hadn’t been feeling the whole blogging thing the last few weeks. With that being said, let’s get things rolling again…

I have been at a conference for the last several days and have had the opportunity to hear Mark Batterson speak. Mark is pastor of National Community Church in Washington D.C. and author of a couple great books; definitely the type of guy you want to learn from.

Well, Mark dropped a great deal of knowledge and insight but a couple of things in particular stood out and I just want to toss them out here for people to meditate on.

1. “At any moment God can invade my life and change it forever.”

2.”We pray for miracles but don’t do anything to prepare for them.”

Chew on that.
