Getting Simple With God

Since the beginning of the month I have taken a very simple approach to my quiet time. Read, Psalms and read Proverbs. Two Psalms and one proverb each day. This simplicity has been incredible for me. I have also been diving into 1 Samuel but more sporadically. Those two “P’ books have been the foundation and have provided a great way to stay grounded in God’s wisdom and providence. For me it is ultimately those two things that get me through each day.

I would encourage each of you to get simple with God. Pray, read a small portion of scripture, and meditate on it for the rest of the day. It’s pretty incredible the impact that that can have.
