Young Adults

Well, it’s official. I’m am making the jump from children’s ministry to young adult ministry. I know, what you’re thinking, “that’s a a crazy leap from one end of the spectrum to the other.”

That is very true, however I myself fall into that “young adults” age group and subsequently am pretty familiar with that status of 20 somethings and the church.

It is my desire to create a place where young adults, both married and single, can come worship God, connect with each other and pursue living lives, reflective of God’s love; all while discovering the gifts, talents, passions and abilities that God has given them.

This will undoubtedly be a task considering that New Life has never had a full time young adults ministry and this will be created from the ground up. However, it is just that challenge that excites me.

I believe that over the next few years, the young adult ministry at New Life will be leading the way in creating environments where young adults can connect and grow in their relationship with God.

What an exciting time!
